Sheriff's Office seeks help uncovering backhoe's location

A backhoe with the words Deja Vu stenciled on the arm was stolen last weekend.

 

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a stolen 1995 Caterpillar 416D backhoe.

Over the weekend of March 6-7, the backhoe was taken from a construction site in the area of Johnson Lane located in Minden.

The backhoe arm, located on the rear of the tractor, has the name “De Ja Vu” stenciled on it. 

Anyone with information regarding the theft or whereabouts of the backhoe, is asked to contact Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Steven Schultz at (775) 782-6206.
