Carson Chamber Singers will perform with Carson City Symphony July 4 in Genoa.

The Carson City Symphony will perform on July 4 as part of the Genoa Americana Celebration in Mormon Station State Park.
Festivities begin with a children’s and pet parade at 10 a.m., present Americana bands from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and end with the Symphony at 4:30 p.m. Genoa Volunteer Fire Department will sell chicken dinners. Admission is free.
The Carson City Symphony, lead by David Bugli, will be joined on the program by singer Jakki Ford, the Carson Chamber Singers directed by Ricky Hutton, and the Joyful Noise Carson Children’s Choir directed by Michelle Powers The program includes show tunes, marches, and pops music, and more. It will end about 6 p.m., leaving time for audience to watch fireworks in Carson City and other communities.
Seating is on the lawn. The audience is invited to bring blankets or lawn chairs. The Genoa American Celebration is presented by the Friends of Genoa.
