Genoa, Nev. — The county’s web site is back up this morning, which means an easier way to get at the agendas besides using the link in Monday’s story.

Planning commissioners will be reviewing approved projects in the county and taking another look at the Gardnerville Ranchos community plan at the request of new member Nicholas Maier.

Planning commissioners are also scheduled to discuss a two-year extension for a senior living community proposed in Minden. They meet at 1 p.m. virtually. You can go to douglascountynv.gov an click on agendas and minutes or

Starting the spring of 2022, academic recognition of graduating students will go from the current valedictorian and salutatorian to a cumma laude system should school board trustees agree. The meeting is 4 p.m. today on Zoom. You can find the link at www.dcsd.k12.nv.us under public meeting news.

Some folks have been getting error messages on our new web site, I know I have. Your patience is appreciated while we shake out the bugs.

Eagles & Agriculture’s new tour dates are Feb. 19-21. Check at www.carsonvalleynv.org for more information and to see if any spots opened up on the tours as a result of the delay.

It looked a lot more like rain last evening than it does today. We might see some before 10 a.m. under mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature of 52 degrees.
