A man who walked away from Stewart Conservation Camp on Friday morning was loose for about a half-hour before being spotted behind the Topsy Walmart.
Aaron Aipoalani, 29, was found missing at about 7:50 a.m. and was located around 8:25 a.m. after someone wearing prison clothing was spotted by a Nevada Department of Corrections employee.
Aipoalani was taken into custody.
He is serving a 2-13 year prison sentence for armed robbery out of Washoe County, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections Web site. His sentence start date was Jan. 25, 2020.
