December 25, 1929 - January 6, 2019 On January 6, 2019 we lost our loving family matriarch, Patricia Ann Pate Parker. She was born on December 25, 1929 in McComb, Mississippi to Van Pate and Eula Hickman Pate and was one of five children. She grew up in Houston, Texas and Southern California where she met her husband, Charles Parker. She and Chuck raised their family primarily in California and Nevada, but also lived in other parts of the world when Chuck’s job as a steamfitter took him to projects abroad. In 1990, Pat and Chuck retired to Fallon, Nevada to be full time grandparents. Patricia loved her family dearly. She was our Mom, our Grammie - the foundation of our family. Patricia was pre deceased by her brother Robert Pate, son Richard Parker, and her husband Charles Parker. She is survived by son Charles Parker (Nancy) and daughter Linda Parker Gomez (Jesse); siblings Tom Pate, Edd Burwell and Jackie Treadway; grandchildren Heidi Parker Mathews, Richard Parker, Andy Parker, Corrine Parker and Julie Gomez Plunkett and by her 12 great grandchildren. There will be a viewing at the Gardens Funeral Home at 2949 Austin Hwy. Fallon, Nevada on Saturday January 12th from 2 to 4pm. Her final resting place will be in Boulder City, Nevada.
