Tessa Stevens, left, was crowned Miss Carson City 2019 and KylaJae West was crowned Miss Carson City Outstanding Teen at last Saturday’s pageant at the Carson City Community Center. Stevens is a Carson High senior and her platform is “Stand Up, Speak Out; Bring Awareness to Sexual Assault.” West is a CHS junior and her platform is “The Help they can’t ask for;
Sexual Assault Advocacy.” Stevens won a $1,000 scholarship and West won a $250 scholarship
