Seventh-day Adventist Church hosting services, concert

Carson City Seventh-day Adventist Church, 405 College Parkway, holds weekly services on Saturday.

Sabbath School, a Bible study group, at 9:30 is followed by a worship service at 10:45 a.m.

A bilingual service in both Spanish and English is offered at 4 p.m.

Additionally, a free concert featuring the King’s Heralds Quartet will be at 7 p.m. May 20 at the church. Everyone is welcome.

Dayton church holding service events June 11

CenterPoint Christian Fellowship in Dayton is gearing up for a day of service on June 11.

Activities include a cleanup of the Carson River and food collection for three food pantries in Dayton.

Volunteers will be collecting food from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at four Dayton locations — Smith’s, Dollar General, Family Dollar and the corner of Dayton Valley Road and Breakwater Drive.
