Ginny Delaski, a resident of Carson City for over 53 years, passed away after a long illness.
Through those many years in Carson she worked numerous jobs including running her own daycare where she raised many children with love.
Ginny enjoyed singing karaoke and was a member of the Golden Girls, performing in the Senior Follies and also a contestant in the Ms. Senior Nevada.
She spent every holiday entertaining family and friends with so much love and caring.
Married to George Christy Sr. for 22 years and then Robert Delaski for 46 years, she is survived by her husband Robert; children Linda Omey(Gary), Carol Hagen(Herman), George Christy “Bud” Jr., James Christy(Patty), Kathy Mechum(Don); brothers Robert, Hank, Gerry and Mike Elder; plus 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
There will be a memorial held at a later date in June.
There’s not a day, dear Mother, that we do not think of you, forever in our hearts, until we meet again.
