Respect game of baseball by leaving it alone

May I begin by saying how refreshing it is to be writing in regards to a subject other than politics. So, no calling the stupid liberals any derogatory names today.

No, today I’m upset about all this silly talk about changing the rules of the most perfect of all sports. I speak, of course, of America’s game, Major League Baseball.

It seems there are individuals who are of the opinion that a game of baseball does not move along rapidly enough for them. To these knuckle draggers I respectfully say, “SHUT UP!”

Baseball was intentionally designed to not be governed by the clock. Theoretically, a game could last forever. If I were in agreement with any changes, it would be to repeal the designated hitter in the American League. I never did like that change.

I would suggest that, if you don’t have the time to sit, relax and enjoy a complete ball game, find something else to do and keep your hands off my enjoyment. They’ve all ready taken a lot of the fun and violence out of professional football.
