Charles (Chuck) Albert Bosch


August 27, 1946 ~ June 30, 2017

Charles (Chuck) Bosch, 70, of Sparks, NV, passed away peacefully on June 30th at his home. Born in Denver, Colorado to Roberta and Vincent Bosch, he lived most of his life in Carson City, NV.

Chuck graduated from Granite Hills High School in El Cajon, CA in 1964, then moved to Yerington, NV, where he worked for Anaconda Mines. In 1968, he moved to Carson City, where he began working for the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT). Chuck retired from NDOT in 1996 as a Professional Civil Engineer in charge of Operations Analysis.

Chuck enjoyed everything the outdoors had to offer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping all over Nevada. He also enjoyed traveling in his motorhome throughout the Southwest and flying to Maui to visit friends.

Chuck is survived by his son Rick; daughter-in-law Karen; grandson Brendan; granddaughter Krista; stepmother, Mary Frances Bosch; niece Brooke; and nephew Brent.

Chuck was an inspiration for independent living and was loved by his family, friends, and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to Chuck’s caregiver Kammy, to Greg, Kari and Will for being such caring, compassionate neighbors and to Uncle Dave, Lin, Gail, Doug and Deborah for all, their help and support.

A Celebration of Chuck’s Life is planned for Saturday, October 7th, at 3:00 p.m. at Red Hawk Golf and Resort, 6600 N. Wingfield Pkwy, Sparks, NV
