Outrage over voter privacy hypocritical

Regarding Linda Deacy’s July 6 letter urging popular objection to the Nevada Secretary of State not to cooperate with the Trump administration’s voter fraud investigation, I have a couple of questions.

How is it a violation of privacy for publicly available voter information to be supplied to the investigators, information any citizen can access?

Where was Deacy’s concern when the federal government was harvesting much more personal and invasive information from those forced to sign up for Obamacare?
