Kathy Mae Gieke, a 23 year resident of Carson City, died Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital.
Kathy was born in 1952 in North Carolina. Kathy married Robert following her High School graduation from Charter Oak, and later graduated from Citrus College - School of Cosmetology.
Kathy enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren and spending time with family and friends.
Kathy’s loving spirit and bright smile will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Kathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert Gieke; three children, David Gieke Sr., Michael Gieke, and April Gieke; three grandchildren, David Gieke Jr., Destinee Spaeth and Sir Donovan Sharp.
