William “Bill” Earl Ford

William “Bill” Earl Ford, long time resident of Fallon, passed away peacefully at his home on February 9, 2017 with his family by his side. Bill was born in Stockton, CA, on September 8, 1937 to Earl and Dorothy Ford.

Bill with his wife and children moved to Fallon from Reno fifty some years ago. Bill was the manager for two Safeway stores in Reno and management decided to move him to Fallon. Bill retired from Safeway in 1993.

After retirement Bill, with his wife, spent his days traveling, across the United States and Alaska, gardening, hunting, fishing and golfing.

Bill is survived by his wife, Diana; daughter, Sheree Jensen and Rusty Bell, all of Fallon; son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Debbie Ford of Carson City; grandchildren, Shayna and Brian Byrd, Clint and Katrina Jensen, Lindsay Ford

and Rory Nunamacher, Tucker and Lauren Ford; great-grandchildren, Braylon Byrd, Madeline Byrd and Dixie Jensen; and many family friends.

A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM at The Gardens Chapel.
