Jo Cadwallader passed away peacefully at her home on November 25, 2017, after a battle with cancer.
Jo was born on May 3, 1934, in San Francisco, to Sedwick and Leola White. The family resided there until Jo was 6 and they relocated to Mina, Nevada. Jo lived in northern Nevada for the remainder of her life in Gabbs, Fallon, Gardnerville, Austin and Dayton.
Jo loved spending time with her family, playing cards, working jigsaw puzzles, bowling, baking, crocheting, knitting and doing crafts of all kinds. She was an expert seamstress.
Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brother Judd White and sister Barbara McDonald Lowe.
Jo is survived by her husband of 66 years, Vern; daughters Debbie (Paul) Hochsprung, Rhonda (Jack) Ferris, and Kandi (Dave) Ramm; sister Sharon Magana; grandchildren Jeremy and Eric Gyger, Kirk (Jackie) and Nicole Ferris, Stephany (Artie) Hilbmann, Kady (Shaun) Harrington, Sharry (John) Beeler and Jeff Seeley; 8 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 13, 2018 @ 11am at El Charro, Carson City
