Air crews have aggressively been attacking a wildfire on Carson City's west side in the hills behind the Carson Colony off of Curry Street. The fire is producing far less smoke than just 10 minutes ago after a few passes from helicopters. Preliminary reports put the fire at about 4 acres.

Air and ground crews are responding to a wildfire burning behind the Carson City Greenhouse. The fire was first reported at 3:50 p.m.
Carson City, BLM and Division of Forest Service crews are responding.
