Carson City senior lunch menu for Sept. 19-23

Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Chili relleno, refried beans, zucchini, peaches and churro.

TUESDAY: Barbecue chicken, roasted vegetables, broccoli salad, wheat bread, apple butter and fruited gelatin.

WEDNESDAY: Fish and chips, coleslaw, watermelon and brownies.

THURSDAY: Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches, pea salad, cottage cheese, cranberry juice and butterscotch pudding.

FRIDAY: Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, assorted dressing, whole wheat bread, apple butter and fruit cups.

Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Barbecue chicken, baked acorn squash, cucumbers in sour cream, biscuits, honey, ambrosia and milk.

TUESDAY: Tangy meatballs, squash, zucchini, rice pilaf, whole wheat bread, margarine, apple and orange cups and cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Pork chops, applesauce, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli, cauliflower, whole wheat rolls, margarine and sherbet.

THURSDAY: Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, French dressing, whole wheat bread, peach butter and fruit cups.

FRIDAY: Biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, hash browns, apples, V8 and orange juice.

Douglas County Senior Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane:

MONDAY: Baked ham with apple and cranberry salsa, spinach, fresh fruit and candied walnut salad, raspberry dressing, sweet potatoes, rolls and vanilla bean ice cream.

TUESDAY: Cheeseburger skillet, tossed salad, balsamic vinaigrette, whole wheat rolls, fruit cocktail and pink lemonade.

WEDNESDAY: Santa Fe Southwest tostada salad with cilantro and lime sour cream dressing, ranch beans, fresh mango and apple crisp.

THURSDAY: Seafood chowder, egg salad sandwich on whole wheat bread, raspberries with frozen vanilla yogurt and orange banana juice.

FRIDAY: Breaded pollack with tartar sauce, cherry Brie tossed salad, rice pilaf, Key Largo vegetables and citrus Jell-O parfait.

Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches on whole wheat bread, kidney bean salad, potato chips and fresh orange slices.

TUESDAY: Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, bananas and apricot pineapple punch.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken Parmesan, spinach noodles, California vegetables, orange and spinach salad, toasted bread sticks, fruit cocktail in light syrup and apple juice.

THURSDAY: Baked pork chops, braised red cabbage, sour cream potato salad, grain bread, orange marmalade and cantaloupe chunks.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Quick corn grits, eggs, canned prunes, margarine, whole wheat toasted bread and grape jam.

Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Tuna casserole, salad, dinner rolls and fruit bars.

TUESDAY: Chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, salad and oatmeal cookies.

WEDNESDAY: Meatloaf, baked potatoes, vegetable salad, dinner rolls and ice cream.

THURSDAY: Clam chowder, turkey sandwiches, baby carrots, celery sticks and fruit cups.

FRIDAY DINNER 5 p.m.: Beef roast, potatoes, carrots, salad, dinner rolls and ambrosia salad.
