Norma E. Lackey

Norma E. Lackey, 84, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 in her Carson City home with her longtime friend and companion, Paul Martin by her side. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on March 2nd, 1931. Norma retired from Sunbeam corp. and moved to Carson City in 1990. Norma was preceded in death by daughter Debbie and son Jeff, and husband Doyle. She is survived by her son, Guy (wife Kimberly) Meerschaert, granddaughter Brooke Johnson, Paul Martin; friends, Sallie and Linda; her work team at Sunbeam, Maxine and Karen, her card player buddies. A very special thanks to Yuki who gave so much pleasure to Norma with her weekly visits during the last 14 months of her life. No services will be held.
