Best decision to play WNC softball

Hello, my name is Nicole Lesniak, I started my collegiate career at The College of Southern Nevada and transferred to Western Nevada College last year. The second I had entered the first formal meeting I was utterly enthused about playing, also to have a fresh start with great coaches. Last year was the most successful year that the program has ever had and I am so blessed to have been apart of it.

Leah Wentworth, Bethany Herman, and Sam Herceg have been nothing but a positive influence, the most caring people in the world, and overall the best coaching staff anyone could ask for. My lifelong dream is to become a college coach and thanks to this program and the coaches I am a graduate assistant. I am so thankful and overjoyed that I have been given this opportunity.

This program is full of amazing people and abundantly talented individuals. It deeply saddens me that it is now approaching the end and other players will not get to have the same experience that I’ve had in this short time. Transferring to WNC was the best decision I have ever made. My time at Western Nevada College has been full of laughs, hard work, and dedication to one another. I made friends that will last a lifetime and memories that I will always cherish. This year we want to go out with a bang and compete for a division/regional title not only for ourselves but for every Wildcat that came before us. Come out and support the last year of the softball/baseball program and see some truly talented student athletes leave a legacy.
