June Audrey McIntyre, passed away May 23, 2016, in her sleep. Born November 15, 1932, in Chesley, Ontario, Canada to John E. and Lydia M. (Meyers) Glasser.June married Ronald Turner McIntyre, June 27, 1953 in Chesley. June, husband and children moved from Canada to Huntington Beach, CA in 1959. On retiring from The University of California, Irvine in 1988, Ron and June moved to Laughlin, NV. Upon the death of Ron, June moved to Carson City, NV in 1995 with her daughter Carol and granddaughter Shelby to be near son Michael.June loved her family, was always there for them with a smile upon her face. Quilting, knitting, photography, dancing and her garden were other joys in her life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Family. A volunteer at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center for 21 years. A member of the CC Senior Center and has appeared in all of The Senior Follies to date.June was one of the 2008 Carson Calendar Girls,appearing with her six dear friends, “The Golden Girls”, in the month of April.Among her survivors are two children; son Michael McIntyre, Idaho, and daughter Carol Henderson (James Windsor) of Carson City; two grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Shelby B. Henderson (Trevor Fratis) Carson City, and Brady M. McIntyre, Idaho; two great grandchildren, Tyler Turner Fratis and his sister Cali Lynn Fratis, who brought real joy to her life; two sisters,

Marjorie (John) Roult, Macomb, MI, and Bernice (William) Dawm, Ottawa, Canada; Brother in law, Alan W. McIntyre (Rita) Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.As requested, June will be cremated and interred in Woodlawn Cemetary, Guelph, Ontario, Canada with husband Ronald.
