The Carson City School District recently held its Band-O-Rama in the Carson High School’ Morse Burley Gymnasium. Close to 500 band students were involved in the evening including:
5th grade bands:
Bordewich/Bray Elementary, Alan Catron, director
Empire Elementary, Kelly Ehrenfeuchter, director
Fremont Elementary, Will Blankenship, director
Fritsch Elementary, Nicole Melsheimer, director
Mark Twain Elementary, Christina Bourne, director
Seeliger Elementary, Mary Law, director
Middle schools:
Carson Middle School, Nicolas Jacques, director
Eagle Valley Middle School, Jon Brill, director
High schools:
Carson High School, Bill Zabelsky, director
The bands combined to showcase songs by grade level and then all the bands combined at the end for one song.
The event allows the younger band students to see the path as they continue their music education.
