Wreck closes southbound Highway 395 at Mica Drive

One vehicle caught fire in a multi-vehicle accident at Mica Drive and Highway 395 on Monday morning.

The southbound lanes of Highway 395 are closed after what has been described as a fire and wreck involving as many as four vehicles at Mica Drive in northern Douglas County.

The wreck was reported at 8:05 a.m.

All motorists were reported out of their vehicles as medics evaluated three for injuries.

East Fork firefighters quckly extinguished the vehicle that was burning.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is on the scene, and took one person in custody, according to broadcast reports.

The NHP will investigate the accident.
