Paris Regan, a 17-year-old Carson High School student, was chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Nevada Pageant 2015 set for July 10-11 at JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa.

Regan will be a senior at Carson High School where she has served as a varsity cheerleader for four years, class representative for National Honor Society for three years, and yearbook editor. She plans on graduating with honors in 2016. Regan also dances and promotes her platform by educating about fire safety.

The winner of the pageant will receive $1,000, an official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California. Each year the pageant nationally awards $1.5 million, scholarships and other prizes.
