Paul M. Dixon

Paul passed away peacefully at his home in Topaz Ranch Estates following a brief illness. His wife and family were present. He was an outdoorsman who loved spending time with his friends on their ATVs, golfing, fishing, boating, swimming, and traveling in the motorhome. He spent a lot of time improving his home and yard - even building and decorating his “man cave”. He was born in Merced, CA, and graduated from Chowchilla High School in 1962. He was a 43-year member of the Operating Engineers Local 3 and the Tahoe Douglas Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Carol, his stepson, Greg, his sisters, Modean Chastain and Mary Thiel and husband Don, his two sons Paul Jr. and Scottie and their wives. He also left five grandchildren, whom he loved dearly, and many nieces and nephews, as well as a lot of friends. The Neptune Society and FitzHenry’s Funeral Home handled cremation. A Celebration of Life is planned for this spring.
