The annual Taste of the Comstock takes place Saturday in Virginia City.
A one-day ticket to more than 20 different tastes of everything the Comstock has to offer.
“It’s not only about great food,” said Deny Dotson, Virginia City tourism director, in a press release. “While you’ll definitely get that, this event allows people to sample everything we have to offer on the Comstock, all in one day. From candy to fine dining and from a Bloody Mary to offerings at our bed and breakfasts, it’s a different dine-around event that is based in our historic culture.”
For $20 in advance or $25 day-of, attendees receive a wrist band and map to all participating locations where samples of the best and most unique fare are available. Locations include the Mackay Mansion, Core at the Cider Factory, Mustang Ranch Steakhouse and many more.
