William “Bill” Campbell II passed away February 13, 2014 in Carson City, NV following a lengthy illness. Bill was born on July 19, 1944 in New London, CT to Commander William Clark Campbell and his wife Elaine “Candy”. At a young age he became an international traveler along with his family stationed at Naval bases around the world. William volunteered for the US Marines at the age of 18, serving in Vietnam as an air traffic controller.

Following his military service he attended University, studying English and Creative Writing which remained lifelong passions. William later attended Law school and became legal consul for the Lieutenant Governor for the Mariana Islands (CNMI). He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia Campbell and a daughter, Bea Cassandra Campbell. Two sisters, Carolynda Owings and Colette Campbell-Jones. A Memorial Service will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:00am at St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in the small chapel. There will be a Memorial service with full military honors to be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a date to be determined later. All are welcome. Walton’s Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
