GOP and tea party hypocrites for criticizing Obamacare

“Obamacare is an Obamanation.” “Obamacare is a Nightmare.” “Obamacare is a Train Wreck.” After these letter headlines, it only gets worse with lies and innuendo and partisan outrage. Why do newspapers publish this tripe — nothing but prejudiced opinion from Obama-haters and Tea Party Republicans.

Yes, the Obama administration deserves to be on the hot seat, but Republican and Tea Party politicians are incredible hypocrites for whining about Obamacare’s failed introduction, since they did everything possible to sabotage it. Most Republican governors have refused to set up state exchanges, forcing millions out in the cold in regards to healthcare.

Republicans in Congress (in a concerted effort) blocked funding for website contractors and refused to let Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius move money around to make up for Republican obstructions.

But, there is good news. All this fuss about broken websites will become a historical footnote in no time as Obamacare is up and running smoothly.

It’s time to end foreign wars and care for our own people

Here’s some disturbing numbers to ponder. Browns University reports the Costs of War project, which said the total for wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan is at least $3.2-4 trillion, now our government wants to extend our presence for another 10 years? It is estimated that immigrants, illegal and legal residing in the United States, send $30 billion annually to their native countries — sent out and not spent to sustain our businesses. In 2012, the federal government spent about $76 billion on the Food Stamp program. In fiscal year 2011, about $3.1 billion in Aid To Families with Dependent Children and Food Stamp benefits were provided to households with an illegal alien parent for the use of his or her citizen child (using said child’s Social Security number).

Just think if our government would enforce the laws already on the books for years, and quit wasting our taxpayers’ money on countries that hate us, along with people coming here for a free ride, every American citizen could receive free healthcare for life. Wake up, America. It’s time to take care of our own.

I will not be happy till every American in our country has a roof over their heads and every citizen has free healthcare and welfare is given to only those who paid into it (American citizens) and is used for only temporary assistance, not a lifestyle. Remember, America, “charity begins at home.” It’s time to start following this rule.
