The Civil War camp is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Miner's Park on Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m.-noon on Labor Day.

"There will even be a medical practice in the camp after battles - maybe even an 'amputation,' " organizers announced.

Train trips are planned, including a champagne train Saturday evening for $25 per head at the V&T Station.

Other train rides involve train battles each day and cost $22 for teens and adults, $10 for kids aged 5-12.
