Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Ashley Claire Ore, 18, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:17 p.m. Wednesday at Saliman and Depot roads on suspicion of felony violation of a stalking order. She allegedly confronted a girl who had a restraining order against her. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Charles Irwin Jackson, 49, a laborer from Dayton, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and a warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $3,500.

• A 21-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 6:47 p.m. on College Parkway on Wednesday on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation and failure to register as a felon. Bail was set at $870.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 12:11 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 3:39 a.m.

• Accident at 8:39 a.m. at North Valley and William streets.

• Report of a handgun stolen from a home on Pine Lane sometime before 9:16 a.m.

• A game console and laptop was reported stolen from a home on Cumberland Court at 8:44 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of a Mound House man who shot himself in the finger at 1:40 a.m. The weapon was "sitting on his stomach when a 'miscalculation' occurred,'" the log states.

• Coroner call in the 1000 block of Mesa Drive at 10:39 a.m. in Fernley.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 1:10 p.m.

• Report of a fire in a ditch on Old Dayton Valley Road at 4:37 p.m. It was extinguished.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• Arrest at 4:51 a.m. Tuesday at Denmark and Venice drives.

• A 56-year-old woman called dispatch to report she'd been drinking for two days and she was scared at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
