A Community Health & Wellness Event is planned for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. July 16 at the Carson Colony Community Senior Center, 401 Washoe St., Carson City.
It is sponsored by Dialysis Clinic Inc. (DCI), in conjunction with The Washoe Tribal Health Center.
Featured at the event will be free nutritional education, diabetes education, education on end stage renal disease, blood pressure checks, dental education, and diabetic foot checks.
There will also be fun activities such as raffles and prizes, a bounce house for the children plus Indian tacos and crafts.
