Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• James Yale Novak, 21, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at noon Saturday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony possession of a credit card without the cardholder's consent, two felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and misdemeanor probation violation. Bail was set at $5,000.

• A 21-year-old landscaper from Silver Springs was arrested at 4:16 a.m. Wednesday at Koontz Lane and Edmonds Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor contributing to delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $637.

• A 35-year-old transient was arrested at 12:40 a.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of North Saliman Road on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing and possession of hypodermic needle. He said the needle was for fishing. Bail was set at $1,369.

• An unemployed 24-year-old man from Las Vegas was arrested at 2:51 a.m. Friday in the 300 block of East William Street on suspicion of misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon without a permit and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. Bail was set at $3,264.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A caller reported at 8:25 a.m. from College Parkway that he could hear a child screaming, "This hurts!"

• Four tires and rims were stolen from a Subaru on a dealership lot on Highway 50 East sometime before 10:30 a.m.

• A woman reported at 11:04 a.m. that after her mother died at an assisted living facility the woman discovered her mother's necklace missing.

• Report of a "stumbling juvenile" at Beverly Drive and Roop Street at 4:27 p.m. The juvenile's blood alcohol content was .205 percent.

• A man reported at 11:22 p.m. that his wife, in her late 80s, was missing from her home on August Drive. She was found outside two houses away at 12:06 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Felony arrest on East Main Street at 12:08 a.m. in Fernley.

• A woman on Shirley Lane in Mason Valley reported at 8:11 p.m. that within the "last two days someone broke in and helped themselves to food and drink."

• Misdemeanor arrest on East Main Street in Fernley at 8:17 p.m.
