Dorothy Jean Brewer, 91, of Carson City, died Jan. 6, 2011. She was born Dec. 11, 1919, in Wynnewood, Okla. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Roxie Brewer of Carson City; sisters Lorraine McClure of Great Falls, Va., and Ila Morgan of Cherokee, Okla.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Carson City, 1750 Mountain St. Burial will follow in Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangements.
