In response to Mr. O'Neill, is Sarah Palin ready for the No. 2 spot in our government? Well, let's see. She was the mayor of a small town in the suburbs of Anchorage, Alaska for 4 years and then she was elected governor of Alaska two years ago. That does sound like a small amount of training to be the vice president of the United States of America when you sit back and look at it doesn't it.

Well now, let's look at the other side of the question. Sen. Obama was in the Illinois state senate for four years and then was elected to the United States Senate two years ago and half of that time he has been out in the field running for president. That does sound like a small amount of training to be the President of the United States of America when you sit back and look at it doesn't it?

I guess from reading Mr. O'Neill's letter and applying the same logic: If you needed open heart surgery, would you feel comfortable with him as the lead surgeon? Would you feel comfortable with him as your pilot on your polar flight to Paris?

In response to Mr. John O'Neill's letter dated October 24, 2008. It is apparent that Mr. O'Neill has no idea how the world works. You don't hire a doctor if you need a plumber and you don't hire a plumber if you need a heart transplant. I you do, then you get what you deserve. It has nothing to do with the ability of a very good governor of the largest state in the nation to deal with a foreign leader, an issue in which Senator Obama has no experience at all. As a native Nevadan who lived in Alaska for most of my life and went to school with both Gov. Palin and her brother Chuck, and as a freelance paralegal with over 30 years of legal research experience, I know that Gov. Palin has more executive experience than any other candidate running for vice president. Alaska is totally surrounded by foreign countries, and as an Alaskan firefighter I know that unlike all other states in the lower 48, Alaska's mutual aid (EMS) agreements are with Canada and Russia. Also, as a pilot who has flown all over Alaska with my wife as Todd Palin has done with Sarah Palin, I would rather put Sarah Palin in the captain's seat in an emergency than to have Barack Hussein Obama in the pilot seat.

Does it tell you anything about a candidate's trustworthiness and honor when he continues to be untruthful? Jill Derby has never said she supports amnesty or giving funds to undocumented immigrants. Jill has integrity in her personal life and her political life and will do what is best for Nevadans.
