Artist Reiko Hervin offers two holiday workshops at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Office, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.
The Holiday Magic Painting Party is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 where participants create watercolor gifts and original cards. Register by Nov. 10. The Holiday Puppy workshop is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 14 where participants use watercolor techniques to paint a puppy. Register by Dec. 8.
All levels are welcome. Bring a sack lunch. Bring basic watercolor equipment, but if you don't have any, equipment may be rented for $10. The class fee of $48 per class or $90 for both classes includes special materials and light refreshments.
