Thai Jasmine in Gardnerville recently celebrated its one year anniversary.

Owners La-Eard Chongolnee and Saiyut Parent thanked customers for supporting them in rough economic times.

They hope new customers will come check out the restaurant's authentic Thai cuisine, including more than 60 dishes.

"I want to show my country through our food," said La-Eard Chongolnee in a previous interview.

Chongolnee grew up in Thailand and came to the U.S. when she was 19 years old. She authored a cook book that's for sale at the restaurant.

Thai Jasmine is located at 1328 Highway 395, Ste. 204. The restaurant is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and open for dinner 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
