Snow coming down in Gardnerville

The first few snowflakes of the year are falling in Gardnerville as a band of snow is passing over the Carson Valley this morning.

Nothing is sticking as of 8:35 a.m. and isn't likely to at this rate.

There are no road controls in the Valley or pretty much anywhere in Western Nevada with the exception of Highway 447 north of Fernley.
