Linda Sawtelle's Knitting and Crocheting Club is looking for donations of yarn from the community. The group has made and given out 56 blankets to assisted living facilities, hospitals and the homebound this year.
The knitting and crocheting club meets 9 a.m. Mondays at the Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane in Gardnerville. There is no fee for the club. To make a donation or for information on joining the group, contact the senior center at 783-6455.
