Felix and Cold Sweat play funk, soul, reggae and blues Cold Sweat is Felix Odion, guitar and lead vocals, Carl Kline, bass guitar, Bill Heath on drums and guest appearance by Bill Slais on sax and keyboards. Veteran musician Slais has played with Elvin Bishop, Starship and Cold Blood.

Carson City-based AMFM Reno plays classic rock and oldies to modern alternative " everything from Chuck Berry to Buckcherry. The band is Al Reed on rhythm guitar and vocals, Bob Skaggs on lead guitar and vocals, Johnny Badd on drums and vocals and 1996 Douglas High grad Bill Allen on bass guitar and vocals.

Minden

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

American Made appears through Sunday and various duos entertain on Monday nights. Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.

American Made plays American music from the '40s to the present, including rock, oldies, classic rock, R&B, country and big-band swing. The group is Sharon Wyner on vocals and keyboards; Nat Wyner on vocals, electric violin, guitar and mandolin; Jeff Sadie on lead guitar and vocals and Jerry Stollman on drums and vocals.

Mack & Tom take the Cabaret Lounge stage Tuesday and play until Oct. 12. Mack & Tom play classic rock 'n' roll from the '50s through the '80s plus contemporary tunes. The group is Bruce McCormack on keyboards and vocals and Tom Dickson on guitar and vocals. The two artists have played together for more than 10 years, many of them as part of the backup band for Louie Fontaine and The Rockets.

n Monday Night Football features sports viewing on giant plasma screens, draft beer and snack specials and drawings for prizes.

Ballet at MontBleu

The Sierra Ballet Theatre Co. opens its third season with a dance program, 7 p.m. Saturday, at the MontBleu Theater in Stateline.

The show includes the contemporary ballet "Rachmaninoff" and children's ballet "Madeline." Also in the program is "Love and Loss," a showcase of jazz styles accompanied by techno, country, hip hop and pop music.
