Look for new library cards, downloadable eAudiobooks, an enhanced Web site and more best-sellers as some of the ways the Douglas County Public Library is improving library service.

Library cards have been updated photographs of Carson Valley and Lake Tahoe. There are three new card designs for patrons to choose from when applying for a library card. Current card holders may upgrade for $1.

New cards are on display and are available now at the library check-out counter. The Douglas County Public Library is at 1625 Library Lane in Minden. Information at douglas.lib.nv.us or 782-9841.
