Soroptimist International of Carson Valley is selling 2009 calendars at area businesses. The calendar includes 12 images of Carson Valley by area photographers Ron Walters and Jason Woodcock. Cost is $10 with proceeds benefiting the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center.
Calendars may be purchased at 88 Cups, Artisans International Gallery, Borders Books, Cafe Girasole, Carson Valley Inn front desk, City National Bank, Curves, Historian Inn, Lira's Market, M. Scott Properties, Nevada Title, Raley's, Scolari's, US Bank, Wells Fargo and World Gym.
Soroptimist International is a worldwide service organization devoted to the improvement of women and children's lives within the areas of economic and social development, human rights and the status of women, environment, education, health and the promotion of international goodwill and understanding.
