Golf tournament to benefit Boys & Girls Club is May 31

The Boys & Girls Club Golf Tournament is a scramble format and begins with registration and breakfast at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. May 31 at Genoa Lakes Golf Resort.

Cost of the tournament is $125 per player, $500 for a foursome and $600 per foursome with tee-sign sponsorships and banner opportunities. The event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Carson Valley.

The Boys & Girls Club of Carson Valley is a nonprofit organization serving 400 children from age 5-18 years in after school and summer programs. The club strives to enhance the quality of life for youth of all backgrounds. Programs and services promote a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Registration has begun for summer session. Dues are $15 per child per year with family discounts available. Information, www.bgcwn.org.
