Registration sessions for the 2008 fall season of American Youth Soccer Organization in Carson Valley will begin April 16 at Scarselli Elementary School in the multipurpose room from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Other sign-up days include May 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Gardnerville Elementary School multi-purpose room and May 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Douglas High School commons.
Sign-ups are open to boys and girls between 4 and 18 years old as of July 31, 2008. Cost before May 28 is $45 for U5 players, $65 for one player, $120 for two players and $40 for each additional player. A $5 discount per family will be given for those that register online at www.eayso.org Instructions and more information is available at www.ayso318.org.
After May 28, the cost is $75 per player with no discounts.
Parents are highly encouraged to participate. Volunteers are needed and training is available.
Certified birth certificates must be presented at the time of registration for all players. All U-16 and U-19 boys and girls players will need to bring a small wallet size picture with the player's name written on the back.
