Glenn T. Jameson Jr.

1935-2008

A funeral service was Tuesday for 13-year Gardnerville resident Glenn T. Jameson Jr., 72, who died at his son's home in Livermore, Calif., on March 12, 2008.

Mr. Jameson was born Dec. 9, 1935. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962.

He worked for Aerospace Corp. in El Segundo, Calif., where he participated in top secret missile and satellite work involving travel to New Zealand and Alaska. He retired from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in 1993 where he worked as a senior technician.

Mr. Jameson lived in Livermore from 1978 to 1995, when he moved to Gardnerville.

He was a past-president of the Livermore Valley Airmen's Association and was also affiliated with the Sertoma Club in Gardnerville.

He had a commercial pilot license, enjoyed model airplanes, and loved flying to Baja California. Mr. Jameson enjoyed fishing, hunting (when he was younger), boating, camping, and going to the gun range.

A Trisagion Service was Monday at Callaghan Mortuary. Funeral services were held at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Resurrection in Castro Valley. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Livermore.

Mary Winona Riley

1916-2008

The correct date for services for Mary Winona Riley whose obituary appeared March 12 is 2 p.m. March 22 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Reno.
