Two ambulance helicopters responded to a head-on collision south of Highway 88 and Mackland this morning. The accident closed Highway 88 between the roundabout and Centerville Lane.
At least one person had to be cut from their vehicle in the accident which occurred before 7 a.m.
The accident is being cleaned up now. Commuters from the Gardnerville Ranchos should seek another route.
