Kindergarten registration for Douglas County elementary schools is March 31 through April 11.
Parents must bring the following materials to register their child at a school site: original birth certificate, complete and up-to-date immunization records and proof of residency (utility bill with street address).
Gardnerville Elementary School is located at 1290 Toler Ave. and can be reached at 782-5117. Scarselli Elementary School is located at 699 Long Valley Rd. in the Gardnerville Ranchos and can be reached at 265-2222. Jacks Valley Elementary School is located at 701 Jacks Valley Rd. and can be reached at 267-3267. Minden Elementary School is located at 1170 Baler St. in Minden and can be reached at 782-5510.
Meneley Elementary School is located at 1446 Muir Drive in the Gardnerville Ranchos and can be reached at 265-3154.
Piñon Hills Elementary School is located at 1479 Stephanie Way in the Johnson Lane area and can be reached at 267-3622.
Douglas County School District will host a free immunization clinic for those between 0 and 18 years of age 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at Douglas High School, 1670 Highway 88 in Minden.
Parents may enroll their children provided all immunizations are completed by the start of the 2008-09 school year.
