The Second Annual Historic Minden Arts Show begins with an artists' reception 6-9 p.m. June 20 and continues through June 21 in the CVIC Hall at 1602 Esmeralda Ave. in Minden. Attendees may sip wine, enjoy food from Cafe Girasole, get to know the artists, and purchase art at the reception. A commemorative wine glass will also be made available to attendees of the reception.
Tickets for the reception are $20 and are available at all of the Carson Valley Art Galleries including Artisans International, Artistic Viewpoints Gallery & Studio, East Fork Gallery, Felix Pottery & Artisan's Shoppe and Lone Tree Gallery. Reception ticket sales benefit the Carson Valley Arts Council.
The arts show features painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, wood, glass, pottery, and metal. Artists' work will be for sale and visitors will be able to watch artist demonstrations and participate in hands-on workshops from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 20.
