Virgil and Wanda Parsons of Gardnerville will celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary on Thursday. The Parsons were married July 10, 1942, in Las Vegas.
They moved to Gardnerville from Susanville five years ago. The Parsons' daughter, Paula King, lives in Gardnerville with husband Bill King. They are grandparents of two grandchildren, Devin and Adam Cartwright.
They will spending their anniversary with family.
