Northwest Martial Arts offers self-defense classes

Staff Reports

Northwest Martial Arts will host a series of self-defense classes July 18-20 in the Fear Adrenal Stress Training format, a program that teaches self-defense to people with or without martial arts training.

A children's course, adult course and a ground fighting course will be presented by martial arts trainer and FAST program creator Bill Kipp.

The FAST program demonstrates defense techniques, how to avoid dangerous confrontations and has been considered effective by many police and rape crisis agencies.
