Shuttles available for art exhibit

The Carson Valley Art Gallery Association presents receptions beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday at five galleries for the Small Treasuresexhibit of small artworks. A shuttle bus will be available to take art patrons to the galleries during the receptions where light refreshments and wine will be served.

Receptions are at Artistic Viewpoints Gallery and Studio at 1572 Highway 395 in Minden; Artisans International Gallery, 1653 Lucerne St., Suite B in Minden; East Fork Gallery, 1503 Highway 395 in Gardnerville; Felix Pottery & Artisan's Shoppe at 1459 Highway 395 in Gardnerville and Lone Tree Gallery and Frame in Minden at 1598 Esmeralda Ave.

Shuttles will depart David Walley's Resort, Hot Springs and Spa at 4:45 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. and return at 8:50 p.m. and will depart from Carson Valley Inn at 5:30 p.m. and 6:25 p.m. and return at 8:30 p.m.

The exhibit will be displayed at Carson Valley galleries through July 31.

Art patrons may enter a free art raffle at each location during the exhibit and the artists' reception. Winning tickets will be drawn on July 31 and the winner need not be present to win.
