Bobby and George Goodspeed of Gardnerville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Lee Goodspeed, to J.D. Allbright of Roswell, N.M.
Goodspeed is a 1998 graduate of Douglas High School. She played softball and graduated from Creighton University, Neb., in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science.
Allbright is the son of Mark Allbright and Mickie Patterson and is a 2000 graduate of Goddard High School in Roswell. He was a decathlete and graduated with a biology degree from Doane College in Crete, Neb.
Goodspeed and Allbright will both graduate with doctor of physical therapy degrees from Creighton University in May. The couple will be married at Kirkwood Mountain Resort, July 2008.
