Looking for unconditional love? That's what will be returned from any cat or dog adopted at the annual Super Dog Saturday event 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas County Animal Shelter, 921 Pinenut Road across from the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Gardnerville.
The shelter is at capacity, guaranteeing a large number of adoptable dogs and cats. Free spay and neuter and obedience training included with each adoption.
The event is sponsored by Douglas Animal Welfare Group who will have a tailgate party featuring hot dogs, hot chili and soft drinks.
